A Walnut Ridge man was arrested and booked into the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Detention Center early Saturday morning on a domestic battery charge.
According to booking records, James Carpenter was taken into custody during the early hours of September 2 on a charge of third-degree domestic battery.
Carpenter is currently awaiting a bond hearing and a scheduled court date. Further details regarding the circumstances of the alleged incident have not been released by authorities.
