A dinner and dance event will take place this evening at the Izard County Senior Life Center, located on Highway 9, about a mile south of Brockwell. The evening will feature a pulled pork dinner and live music by the Jerry Hopper Band.
Susan Williams, director of the senior center, has extended an open invitation to the community to join for a night of food, dancing, and fun. All proceeds raised from the event will benefit the senior center and the Meals on Wheels program in Izard County.
In addition to tonight’s festivities, Williams is coordinating a December holiday trip to the Biltmore Estate in North Carolina. The trip is scheduled for December 13-18, and reservations are now being accepted.
