Randolph County authorities have arrested a Maynard man on multiple charges, including drug possession and firearm violations.
Jeffery Harris, 64, was taken into custody recently and is being held at the Randolph County Detention Center. According to officials, Harris faces numerous charges, among them possession of a controlled substance, simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, possession of fentanyl, and transportation of fentanyl.
In addition, Harris has been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to register as a sex offender, and multiple non-drug-related infractions, including defective equipment and lack of insurance. Authorities have not provided further details on the circumstances of the arrest or the amount of fentanyl allegedly recovered.
