Arkansas basketball will officially tip off the 2026-27 season with its second annual "Primetime at the Palace" on Friday, Oct. 2, at Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville. The event begins at 8 p.m., with doors opening at 7 p.m.

Entry is free, but all attendees, regardless of age, must claim a free ticket in advance. Designated student seating and premium seating options will be available, while other sections will be general admission. The arena’s clear bag policy will be in effect.

The evening’s program will include introductions of the Razorbacks' men’s and women’s basketball teams. Men's head coach John Calipari, now entering his third year, and women's head coach Kelsi Musick, in her second year, will present their respective squads to fans.

Highlights of the event will include a dunk contest, a three-point shooting contest, a scrimmage featuring the men's Red and White teams, and other attractions. Additionally, the first 5,000 fans through the doors will receive a free event-themed T-shirt.
