The Izard County Sheriff’s Office announced the incarceration of six individuals last week on a range of charges, according to Sheriff Charley Melton. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Billy Plunkett, 52, of Mount Pleasant, was arrested on August 24 for probation violations.
Bryce Byler, 22, of Horseshoe Bend, was taken into custody on August 25 on multiple charges, including driving on a suspended driver’s license, false imprisonment, domestic battery in the third degree, and terroristic threatening in the second degree.
Kaleb Welch, 32, of Mountain Home, was arrested on August 26 on a warrant issued by the Izard County Circuit Court for probation violations.
Jensen Rivera, 24, of Horseshoe Bend, was booked on August 26 after warrants were issued for failure to appear in both the Izard County and Fulton County District Courts. Additional charges include failure to register a vehicle and having no proof of insurance.
Kevin Burton, 47, of Franklin, was arrested on August 29 and charged with multiple offenses, including fictitious vehicle license, no vehicle registration, no proof of insurance, driving on a suspended license, tampering with an interlock device, refusal to submit to a chemical test, and driving while intoxicated (second offense).
Kurtis Hofmann, 34, of Sidney, was arrested on August 30 for assault on a family or household member in the third degree.
The Izard County Sheriff’s Office reminds the public that all charges are allegations until adjudicated by the courts.
