Residents in Izard County may have noticed a change in the appearance of emergency ambulances recently, but officials confirm the provider remains the same. Vital Link EMS, a nonprofit organization, has introduced a refreshed brand identity, which includes updated graphics, new colors, and a redesigned logo. Despite the new look, the organization emphasized that the personnel operating the ambulances and its commitment to the communities it serves remain unchanged.
The rebranding marks the latest evolution for Vital Link, which has been connecting people to vital care since its founding in August 1983. The updates will begin appearing on ambulances in the area over the coming months as part of a gradual rollout that will also include changes to uniforms, facilities, printed materials, and digital assets.
Kathy Lanier, CEO of Vital Link, explained, "While Vital Link has changed tremendously over the years, the company wanted to better reflect the organization that it is today." She added that every element of the new branding was selected purposefully to showcase the growth of the organization while staying true to its mission.
Vital Link serves several Arkansas communities beyond Izard County and remains committed to providing emergency medical services throughout the region.
