A recent investigation conducted by the 16th District Drug Task Force, in coordination with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department and Mammoth Spring Police, led to the seizure of approximately 90 grams of methamphetamine and exposed an active methamphetamine lab, according to law enforcement officials.
During the operation, authorities also recovered firearms, digital scales, and other drug paraphernalia. Fulton County Sheriff Jake Smith confirmed that three individuals were taken into custody as a result of the investigation. The suspects are being held at the Fulton County Detention Center, though their names have not yet been released.
The 16th District Drug Task Force is led by Johnny Byler and works closely with local law enforcement across Fulton, Izard, Stone, Independence, and Cleburne counties. The task force remains focused on combating illegal drug activity to ensure the safety of the communities within its jurisdiction, officials said.
