A single-vehicle crash Friday night in Baxter County claimed the life of a Mountain Home man, according to the Arkansas State Police.
Authorities said the crash occurred just before 9 p.m. on the U.S. Highway 62 Bypass. The driver, identified as 22-year-old Dodge Harris, was traveling west in a Toyota when he failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle entered the median, rolled over as it re-entered the highway, and ejected Harris from the vehicle.
State troopers reported that Harris died from his injuries at the scene. Investigators noted that weather conditions were clear and the roadway was dry at the time of the crash.
The Arkansas State Police continue to investigate the incident.
