INDEPENDENCE COUNTY, Ark. — Emergency responders with the Arkansas State Police were dispatched Tuesday afternoon to a traffic accident with reported injuries along State Highway 14 in Independence County.
According to the Arkansas Department of Transportation, the crash occurred around 3:07 p.m. near mile marker 9.6, approximately 4.6 miles southwest of Newark. The accident has temporarily blocked southbound traffic in the area.
