The Izard County Senior Life Center will hold its mid-summer dinner and dance on Monday night, offering an opportunity for community members to enjoy food, music, and fellowship.
The evening will feature a pulled pork dinner, followed by a dance with live music from the popular Jerry Hopper Band. Susan Williams, the center’s director, encourages area residents to attend for a fun night out and to support a meaningful cause.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the operations of the Senior Life Center and the Meals on Wheels program, which provides meals to seniors across Izard County.
In addition to Monday’s event, Williams has also organized a holiday trip to the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina. The six-day trip is set for December 13 through December 18, and reservations are now open.
Those interested in attending the dinner and dance or joining the December trip can contact the Izard County Senior Life Center at 870-368-6011. The center is located a mile south of Brockwell on Highway 9.
