Portia residents will have the opportunity to dispose of household waste using temporary dumpsters provided by the city from Thursday, September 28, through Monday, October 2.
The dumpsters will be located at 101 West Grove Street and will be available daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. during the designated period.
These services are strictly for Portia residents, and no waste from outside the community will be permitted. The area will be closely monitored and under camera surveillance at all times to ensure compliance with regulations.
Residents are encouraged to utilize the temporary service for approved waste disposal and to follow any posted guidelines for use of the dumpsters.
