JONESBORO, Ark. — The Jonesboro and Lake City District Court clerks' offices have been recognized statewide for their excellence in the timely and accurate filing of criminal and traffic case citations.
The Arkansas Administrative Office of the Courts presented the 2026 Court Data Honor to the clerks during the Arkansas Court Automation Programs Conference's closing session on July 24. The award acknowledges achievements in maintaining accurate court records, improving case information quality, and ensuring judicial data reliably reflects the work of Arkansas courts.
Chief Clerk Bridgett Clifft, Lake City Deputy Clerk Linda Holland, and District Court staff were commended for their case reporting accuracy and effective management of pending cases over the past year.
The Administrative Office of the Courts also highlighted the contributions of District Judges David Boling and Tommy Fowler, along with attorneys and other Craighead County justice system officials, in achieving these results.
“Being recognized by the AOC for data quality is truly an honor and reflects the dedication of our entire court,” Clifft said. “I am incredibly proud of our clerk’s office and the care they put into their work every day.”
Clifft emphasized the importance of accurate court records for documenting case proceedings, ensuring accountability, and preserving the integrity of the judicial process.
Scott Graves, director of the Office of Research and Justice Statistics, noted the significance of reliable court data in helping judicial leaders manage caseloads, ensure public trust, and provide useful information to all stakeholders.
“This award reflects the exceptional commitment of Bridgett Clifft, the District Court Clerk’s Office, Judge David Boling and Judge Tommy Fowler, and the justice system partners in Craighead County,” Graves said.
The Court Automation Programs conference is an annual event that brings together court and clerk personnel from across the state. The program provides technology support, technical assistance, public access to court information, and development of online court services.
