Authorities in Randolph County have arrested two individuals on a range of drug-related charges. Misti Hill, 47, of Pocahontas, and Jeremy Smith, 37, of Walnut Ridge, were taken into custody on Thursday. According to booking records, the arrests led to numerous charges for both individuals.
Hill faces charges of possession of methamphetamine with purpose to deliver, possession of Schedule I and Schedule II substances (excluding meth) with purpose to deliver, possession of Schedule III and Schedule IV controlled substances with purpose to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia (two counts), proximity to certain facilities, and the use of another person’s property to facilitate a crime.
Smith has been charged with possession of methamphetamine with purpose to deliver, possession of Schedule I and II substances (excluding meth) with purpose to deliver, possession of Schedule III and Schedule V controlled substances with purpose to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia (two counts), proximity to certain facilities, use of another person’s property to facilitate a crime, and failure to register as a sex offender, a felony.
Both Hill and Smith are currently being held in the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center as they await upcoming court hearings on the charges.
