PARAGOULD, Ark. — A Paragould resident has been charged with felony domestic battery after law enforcement reported a violent assault involving a bathroom mirror and broken vase pieces.
Walter Kimble faces one count of third-degree domestic battering, a Class D felony, following the incident, according to an affidavit filed in Greene County District Court. The charge was elevated to a felony because Kimble has a previous conviction for third-degree domestic battering in 2024, according to the affidavit.
Officers responded to a report of domestic violence on August 23 and found the victim with a bleeding injury on the right side of their face. The victim told officers that Kimble had slammed their face into a bathroom mirror and then used shards from a broken vase to cut their face, investigators stated.
On August 24, a judge determined there was probable cause to formally charge Kimble and set his bond at $150,000 surety. Conditions of his release include no contact with the victim or any other individuals involved in the case, avoidance of firearm possession, and adherence to ankle-monitoring requirements.
All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
