A Walnut Ridge woman faces a felony charge after investigators in Randolph County alleged she used a stolen credit card to bail a man out of jail.
Teri Ann Mosbach, 44, is being held at the Randolph County Jail on one count of fraudulent use of a credit or debit card for an amount greater than $1,000. The charge is a Class D felony in Arkansas.
According to court records, Mosbach used her stepmother’s Discover credit card to pay $5,180 in bond costs for Zachary Sellers. Sellers had been arrested on August 5 on suspicion of felony fleeing.
Lt. Bob Andrews stated that Powers Bail Bonds confirmed the payment was made using a credit card belonging to the victim. Investigators say the victim told officers Mosbach did not have permission to use the card.
On August 19, District Court Judge Mark Johnson found probable cause to charge Mosbach and issued a warrant for her arrest. She remains in custody awaiting a bond hearing.
