The Izard County Fair and Livestock Show is in full swing, with several events planned for today.
Check-in for the food preparation contest, the Imaden Floyd Contest, and cut flowers will take place from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m., according to organizers. Judging for creative arts is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Following the judging, the Creative Arts Building will open to the public from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Livestock enthusiasts can attend the dairy cattle show this evening at 6 p.m., which will be followed by the dairy goat show.
