The Donald W. Reynolds Library Serving Baxter County will host a virtual author event featuring Suzanne Woods Fisher on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. The event will take place via Zoom and will focus on Fisher’s latest novel, *Chase the Light*.
Kim Crow Sheaner, director of the Donald W. Reynolds Library, highlighted that one of the unique aspects of Fisher’s work is her use of engaging and distinctive settings.
*Chase the Light* is set in Acadia National Park and blends contemporary romance with mystery, treasure hunting, and adventure. The story centers on a park ranger who discovers a century-old shipwreck along with its hidden and perilous secrets. Library attendees will have the opportunity to join the discussion, ask questions, and gain insights into Fisher’s inspirations and writing process.
Suzanne Woods Fisher, the author of more than 40 books, has earned recognition for both contemporary and historical romance as well as Amish fiction. Her accolades include being a Christy Award finalist, Carol Award winner, Selah Award winner, and a two-time finalist for the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association (ECPA) Book of the Year.
The virtual event is open to the public, and no prior registration is required.
