The Baxter County Library is celebrating Library Card Sign-Up Month this September with a special promotion allowing participants to earn a chance at winning a prize. Visitors can pick up a stamp card at the library throughout the month, earning a stamp for each visit where materials are checked out.
Patrons who collect at least three stamps and return their completed card by October 3 will be entered into a prize drawing.
In addition to the monthly promotion, the library’s “Read, Write, Ignite” educational series for all ages is underway and will continue through November 14. Participants in this program can also collect punches on special cards for ongoing engagement.
For art enthusiasts, the library is distributing guides for the upcoming Art Odyssey Studio Tour, which highlights visits to local artists’ workspaces.
The Baxter County Library will be closed on Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day.
