A day of free food, music, and games awaits residents and visitors at the annual Freedom in the Park celebration, set for Saturday, September 5, 2026. The event will take place at Imboden City Park and is open to the public at no charge.
This year’s celebration, with the theme "America the Beautiful," will include hamburgers, hot dogs, drinks, live entertainment, and various activities, all starting at 10:00 a.m. Organizers invite attendees to enjoy the festivities while paying tribute to those who serve the nation.
In addition to the main event, visitors can take time to visit the Arkansas Fallen Heroes Memorial, located just across Highway 63 from S&H Quick Stop in Imboden. The memorial honors Arkansans who have lost their lives in military service.
The celebration is hosted annually by S&H Quick Stop, owned by Judy and Eldon Henderson, who are recognized for their support and organization of the event. Community members and visitors are encouraged to attend and enjoy the family-friendly atmosphere.
