Two counties in Northeast Arkansas reported damage after storms and high winds swept through the region Saturday afternoon.

Greene County Sheriff Brad Snyder stated that deputies observed significant storm damage near county roads 728, 729, 765, and 739. Large trees and power lines were downed, and two vehicle crashes occurred as the storm passed through. Sheriff Snyder advised motorists traveling in southern Greene County to drive with caution due to potential debris on the roadways.

The Jackson County Office of Emergency Management noted that the storm caused minor damage in various locations across the county, largely driven by strong, damaging winds.

Thousands of residents throughout Northeast Arkansas experienced power outages as the storm moved through the area.

No injuries have been reported at this time, and officials continue to assess the storm's impact.
