A head-on collision on Highway 63 in Lawrence County claimed the life of a Pocahontas man Monday morning, according to the Arkansas State Police.
The crash occurred near Lawrence County Road 106 when a southbound Jeep, driven by 21-year-old Morgan Wiles of Ash Flat, crossed the center line and collided with a car driven by Wyatt McIntare of Pocahontas. McIntare was pronounced dead at the scene.
Wiles sustained serious injuries and was transported to Regional One Health in Memphis for treatment.
The collision remains under investigation by the Arkansas State Police. No additional details have been released at this time.
