JONESBORO, Ark. — The Family Crisis Center will host CajunFest, a fundraiser combining Cajun-themed dining, auctions, and other activities, on Friday, Oct. 16, to support survivors of domestic and sexual violence across Northeast Arkansas.

The event will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. at Harmony Gardens, located at 4517 E. Parker Road in Jonesboro. Attendees can enjoy unlimited Cajun-inspired food and drinks, participate in live and silent auctions, and take part in a raffle and donation drive. Tickets are $100 per person, and sponsorship opportunities are available.

Proceeds from CajunFest will benefit the Family Crisis Center, which has served the region for four decades. The organization provides a wide range of resources to survivors, including safe shelter, daily meals, trauma counseling, mental health therapy, legal advocacy, and forensic exams.

“Every ticket purchased and every sponsorship pledged helps sustain critical services for survivors across Northeast Arkansas,” said Casey Kidd, executive director of the Family Crisis Center. Kidd emphasized that community support empowers survivors on their path to healing and contributes to fostering a safer community.

Individuals interested in attending, donating, or sponsoring the event can find more information at neafamilycrisiscenter.org or by calling 870-897-4033.
