JONESBORO – The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC) at Arkansas State University is offering three “Funding Your Business” sessions in September, aimed at helping entrepreneurs and small business owners gain a better understanding of financing options for startups or existing businesses.
The workshops, which are free to attend, will cover a range of topics including business loans, guaranty programs, SBA loans, microloans, grants, and other financing possibilities. Participants will also learn about common challenges with business funding and strategies to address them.
The sessions are scheduled as follows:
- Wednesday, Sept. 9, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Newport Area Chamber of Commerce. - Thursday, Sept. 10, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce. - Tuesday, Sept. 22, from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Delta Center for Economic Development in Jonesboro.

The free in-person events are made possible through sponsorships from First Community Bank, FNBC Bank, East Arkansas Planning & Development District, First Security Bank, Simmons Bank, and the Northeast Arkansas Regional Intermodal Authority. The ASBTDC at Arkansas State operates with support from the Neil Griffin College of Business and the university's Office of the Provost.
