TRUMANN, Ark. — Aspiring entrepreneurs and current business owners in the Trumann area will have the opportunity to receive free guidance on crafting or improving their business plans during an upcoming workshop.
The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC) at Arkansas State University is hosting “Building Your Business Plan” on Tuesday, Sept. 8, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. The event will take place at the Trumann Area Chamber of Commerce, located at 825 Arkansas 463.
Robert Bahn, a business consultant with A-State’s ASBTDC, will lead the session. According to Bahn, the workshop will cover essential topics, including starting a business plan, strengthening existing plans, preparing for growth, and funding considerations. He emphasized that a well-developed business plan is useful not only for startups but also for established businesses looking to assess their current standing, identify new opportunities, and set realistic growth goals.
“A business plan is not only for startups,” Bahn said. “It can help an existing business evaluate where it stands, identify opportunities, prepare for growth and set realistic goals for the year ahead.”
The workshop is free to attend, but preregistration is required. Interested participants can register online or call 870-972-3517. Reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities or those with limited English proficiency are available upon request, provided the requests are made at least two weeks in advance.
This workshop is part of ASBTDC’s efforts to support small businesses and entrepreneurs across Arkansas by providing tools and resources to help them succeed.
