The Mountain Home community is being asked to come together Friday evening to support Harper Graves, a local child battling an aggressive brain tumor. A benefit event, titled "Hope for Harper," will feature a supper and auction beginning at 5 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Mountain Home.

Harper, the daughter of Dustin and Kapra Graves, is undergoing treatment for her condition. Proceeds from the event will help the family with related expenses.

The evening will begin with dinner and a silent auction, which includes items donated by local individuals and businesses. At 6 p.m., a live pie and dessert auction is set to follow. Those wishing to contribute baked goods for the live auction are encouraged to deliver their items to the church by 4 p.m. on Friday.

First United Methodist Church is located at 605 W. Sixth St. in Mountain Home. For additional information about the event, contact Leah Rouse at 870-421-4069 or Tori Moss at 870-750-0016.
