Novelist Suzanne Woods Fisher will connect with readers to discuss her National Parks Summers series on Wednesday, August 26, at 1:30 p.m. through a virtual event hosted by the Donald W. Reynolds Library Serving Baxter County.

Fisher’s latest book, *Chase the Light*, is the second installment in the series. The novel follows a ranger at Acadia National Park in Maine who discovers a weathered note near a remote lighthouse. This discovery leads to a century-old mystery involving a lost shipwreck, missing gold, and the suspicious death of a lighthouse keeper. Alongside the treasure hunt, a romantic triangle unfolds.

The first novel in the series, *Capture the Moment*, is set in Grand Teton National Park and marks the beginning of Fisher's exploration of the natural beauty and intrigue surrounding U.S. national parks.

A prolific author, Fisher has penned more than 40 books, including works of contemporary romance, historical fiction, and Amish fiction. Her accolades include being a Christy finalist, a Carol and Selah award winner, and a two-time ECPA Book of the Year finalist. Her books have appeared on bestseller lists by Publishers Weekly and the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association (ECPA). Other notable works by Fisher include *The Moonlight School*, *A Season on the Wind*, and series like Nantucket Legacy, Lancaster County Secrets, The Bishop’s Family, and Cape Cod Creamery.
