Two candidates have withdrawn from municipal races in Baxter County as the November general election approaches.
Rick Hawkins has ended his candidacy for Gassville City Council Ward 3, Seat 1. Meanwhile, Megan DuBois withdrew from the race for Cotter City Council Ward 1, Position 1 on August 6.
The announcements were made by Lindsay Roberts, Election Coordinator for the Baxter County and Circuit Clerk’s Office and the Baxter County Board of Election Commission. No further details on the withdrawals were provided.
