Traffic on Highway 64 in Cross County came to a standstill Tuesday after a two-vehicle crash involving commercial vehicles.

According to the Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT), the collision occurred at 10:34 a.m., just west of the Highway 1 intersection north of Wynne.

All lanes of traffic are currently blocked, causing significant delays in the area.

Motorists are advised to avoid the affected portion of Highway 64 and plan alternate routes to navigate around the closure. No estimate has been provided for when the highway will reopen.
