The Norfork City Council is set to meet Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m. at Norfork City Hall, located at 49 City Hall Circle. On the agenda is the second reading of an ordinance to amend Chapter 10.08 of the Norfork City Code, which governs rates for new water and sewer installations.
In addition to the ordinance review, unfinished business includes discussions on an update to the city’s sewer pump system. The council is also expected to announce the start of budget season during the meeting.
Residents are encouraged to attend city council meetings. Anyone wishing to be added to a future meeting agenda should contact city officials at 870-499-5225 at least one week in advance.
A council workshop is scheduled for Friday, September 8, at 6:30 p.m., and the next regular council meeting will follow on Friday, September 15, at 6:30 p.m. Both events will be held at Norfork City Hall.
