The Bull Shoals City Council is set to convene for a workshop on Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m., where several city matters will be discussed, including a proposed chicken ordinance and the appointment of new council members.
Under old business, council members will consider the second and third readings of the chicken ordinance. Other items on the agenda include the disposal of surplus city items, selection of a low-voltage integrator company for ACS/CCTV, and the purchase of a computer for public works.
The council will also address several items listed under new business, beginning with applications from individuals seeking to fill vacant council positions. Additional topics in new business include a resolution on changing park-related pricing, approval for new uniforms for public works employees, the acquisition of Sensus water meters, and decisions regarding the payoff of a bond and a contract for water tower maintenance.
The council will also consider approval for a record-of-paper for publishing ordinances, the purchase of PDF software, and leasing or repairing police vehicles. Other planned discussions include upgrading business cell phones and acquiring additional equipment for public works.
Residents are encouraged to attend the workshop in person.
