The Mountain Home Bomber golf teams participated in a tri-match against Highland and Flippin on Monday at Big Creek Country Club, earning strong performances from both the boys and girls squads.

In the girls’ competition, Flippin secured first place with a team score of 340, narrowly defeating Mountain Home by just four strokes. Highland finished significantly behind the pack. Mountain Home’s Molly Wright claimed first place individually by carding a 98. Additional contributors for the Lady Bombers included Ashley Smith with a 121, Brylee Blasdel with a 125, and Ava Caples posting a 126. Taylor Cotter also competed and shot a 136 for Mountain Home.

On the boys’ side, Mountain Home took first place with a team score of 318, besting Highland’s 343 and Flippin’s 367. Cody Cormican led the Bombers with a 75, edging Flippin’s Peyton Moore by a single stroke to claim the individual title. Bailor Tate also had a strong showing for Mountain Home, shooting a 78. Other notable performances included Braxton Blagg’s 80, Teagan Booy’s 85, and Liam Gaston’s 96. Additional contributions came from Brody Brown (84), Christian Chamberlin (85), Cam Stone (87), Jarrett Warno (91), and Ben Williams (95). Other Mountain Home scorers included Cannon Dollard, Cooper Adams, and Liam Hauser.

The Bomber teams are scheduled to return to action on Thursday with a match in Harrison.
