A pivotal scene from an upcoming cinematic series about The Beatles was recently filmed at the iconic Abbey Road crosswalk in London, according to video shared on social media. The project, helmed by Academy Award-winning director Sam Mendes, will trace the band’s journey in four films, each told from the perspective of a different band member.

In a nod to the famous 1969 "Abbey Road" album cover, the footage shows the cast portraying the four Beatles recreating the legendary moment outside Abbey Road Studios. Actors Paul Mescal (Paul McCartney), Harris Dickinson (John Lennon), Joseph Quinn (George Harrison), and Barry Keoghan (Ringo Starr) were seen crossing the road in a scene reminiscent of the iconic album cover.

The cinematic series, titled *The Beatles — A Four-Film Cinematic Event*, is set to premiere in April 2028. It marks a groundbreaking collaboration between Sony Pictures and Apple Corps Ltd., the multimedia company founded by The Beatles. According to project details, this is the first time Apple Corps has granted film rights to the band's life stories and catalog of music.

The series is also expected to include portrayals of key people in the Beatles’ lives, such as Saoirse Ronan as Linda McCartney, Mia McKenna-Bruce as Maureen Starkey, Anna Sawai as Yoko Ono, and Aimee Lou Wood as Pattie Boyd.

The project has drawn attention not only for its ambitious scope but also for its high-profile cast and unprecedented access to the stories and music surrounding the Fab Four. The films aim to explore the personal and professional lives of McCartney, Lennon, Harrison, and Starr, delving into their perspectives as individuals as well as their shared legacy as one of the greatest bands of all time.
