A Powhatan woman has been arrested in Lawrence County for failing to comply with a court order.
Mickie Jean Regina was booked on a contempt of court charge relating to the violation. She is currently being held at the Lawrence County Detention Center, awaiting her next hearing.
This latest arrest adds to a series of charges filed against Regina over the past few months. In May, she was arrested in Sharp County on theft charges. Later that month, she was taken into custody in Lawrence County on charges of fraudulent credit card use and theft of property.
In June, Regina faced allegations of stealing from a local farmers market in Imboden and was arrested again. In July, she was charged with failure to comply with a court order, which is the same charge that resulted in her most recent arrest this August.
Regina’s next court date has not yet been announced.
