Black River Technical College (BRTC) will introduce a new course in industrial emergency management as part of its workforce training program, beginning Monday.

The six-week course is designed to assist businesses in developing comprehensive emergency response plans tailored to real-world crisis situations. Officials with the college stated that the program aims to equip participants with the knowledge and tools necessary to effectively prepare for and respond to industrial emergencies, a critical component of maintaining workplace safety.

BRTC's workforce training programs are developed to address regional and statewide economic and safety needs in Arkansas, providing accessible resources for local industries and individuals.
