A Clinton woman was killed Friday evening in a head-on collision on State Highway 25 in Southside, according to the Arkansas State Police.
Authorities identified the victim as Michelle Pack, 43. Pack was driving a 2020 Chrysler south on Highway 25 when a northbound 2016 Ram 3500 crossed the centerline and collided with her vehicle. The crash occurred around 5:05 p.m. near Pondarosa Road in Independence County.
State police confirmed that Pack died from injuries sustained in the collision. Her next of kin have been notified, and her body was transported to Doty Funeral Home. The driver of the Ram 3500, who was not named in the report, sustained injuries and was taken to White River Medical Center for treatment.
The crash occurred under clear weather conditions on a dry roadway, according to the incident report.
