A fatal crash on Friday in Independence County has claimed the life of a Clinton woman, according to a report from the Arkansas State Police (ASP).
The accident occurred on Highway 25 in Southside. Authorities say Michelle Pack, 43, of Clinton, was driving a 2020 Chrysler when her vehicle was struck head-on by a 2016 Dodge Ram 3500. The Dodge was being driven by Bonnie Sprouse, 75, of Batesville.
Pack was pronounced deceased following the collision. Sprouse sustained injuries in the crash, according to the ASP report. The extent of her injuries was not disclosed.
The crash remains under investigation by the Arkansas State Police.
