A 34-year-old man from Salem was discovered dead Tuesday afternoon near the Peoples Tabernacle Church on Sullens Road in Hoxie.
The Arkansas State Police confirmed they are investigating the death of James Frey. Investigators have not released additional details about the circumstances surrounding his death.
The body has been transported to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory where an autopsy will determine the cause and manner of death. No further updates were available as of Wednesday morning.
