Arkansas State University Mountain Home (ASUMH) is expanding its reach to high school students in the Searcy County School District. Last week, the Arkansas State University System Board of Trustees approved a measure allowing ASUMH to designate the school district as an official location for instruction.
According to ASUMH Chancellor Dr. Bentley Wallace, the initiative has been under consideration for some time. While details about class structure and scheduling are still being finalized, this development marks a significant step in enhancing educational access for students in the area.
