Chef John Myers, owner of Parsonage on Main Street, has once again turned his restaurant into a haven for anyone needing a place to cool off.
For the third consecutive summer, Myers is offering cold drinks and cool seats to those seeking relief, no questions asked. "Water, it doesn’t cost hardly anything," Myers said. He explained that providing to-go cups of water is just one way his business can support the town.
"It’s just us looking out for the community," he added, emphasizing that no one should feel the need to spend money simply to stay hydrated on a hot day.
