Olivia Harrison, widow of legendary Beatles guitarist George Harrison, has announced a book tour to promote *The Third Eye: Early Photographs*, a collection of George Harrison's personal photos set for release on October 6. The book showcases images taken by Harrison between 1963 and 1970, capturing the meteoric rise of The Beatles and offering a rare glimpse into his personal perspective during that era.
The tour will feature two U.S. stops, according to details shared online. The first event is scheduled for October 6 at the Howard Gilman Opera House at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York, where Olivia Harrison will engage in a conversation with acclaimed director Martin Scorsese. A second event will follow on October 11 at the Robert Frost Auditorium in Los Angeles, where she will be joined in discussion by director and writer Cameron Crowe. Tickets for both events are now on sale, and additional dates in the United Kingdom are expected to be announced in the future.
George Harrison's photography, curated for the first time in this collection, includes over 200 images in both color and black-and-white. The photographs are drawn from Harrison's personal archives, including stills from his 8mm film footage. The book also features commentary and insights from Harrison himself, paired with essays contributed by Olivia Harrison, novelist Colm Tóibín, and writer George Saunders.
