The Beck Center for Veterans is set to host its fourth annual Golf Classic on Thursday, Aug. 27, at the Paragould Country Club. The event raises funds to support the center’s programs for veterans.

“Building on the tremendous success of previous tournaments, we are looking forward to making this year’s event our biggest and most impactful yet,” said Jana Haskins, director of the Beck Center for Veterans. Haskins expressed gratitude for the continued support from sponsors, participants, and community partners, adding that the goal this year is to expand participation and deepen the event’s impact.

The tournament is open to golfers of all skill levels, offering an opportunity for the community to come together in a spirit of fellowship and friendly competition. Registration begins at 10 a.m. on the day of the event, followed by a lunch at 11:30 a.m. The tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 1 p.m.

Teams of four can register for a $400 entry fee, which includes range balls, green fees, lunch, four mulligans per team, and eligibility for awards and prizes. Teams will compete in a scramble format, with prizes awarded to the top three teams, as well as winners in longest drive and closest-to-the-pin categories for both men and women. One participant will have the chance to win a Hole-in-One Car provided by Glen Sain Motors.

“Our hope is that community members will gather their teams and join us as we come together to support the Beck Center for Veterans and the men and women who have served our country,” Haskins said.

This year’s title sponsors include Nucor Northeast Arkansas, BAE Systems, and Ranger Tool and Die.
