The Lawrence County Fair is underway through Saturday at the fairgrounds in Imboden, offering numerous activities for attendees of all ages.
Breakfast and lunch are being served today at the Old Gym, where commercial booths are open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Meanwhile, the Education Building will operate from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Today marks the last chance to submit cookie jars for Saturday’s scholarship auction, which is a popular feature of the fair. For livestock enthusiasts, the Open Cattle Show begins at 6 p.m. with a $10 entry fee per head.
This evening, visitors can enjoy Gospel Night, featuring a performance by The Faith Gospel Group. The event begins at 7 p.m. at the air-conditioned Bill McCurley Gym.
Advance discount tickets for the rodeo, scheduled for Friday and Saturday, are available today for $13 at Citizens Bank in Imboden. This represents a $2 savings compared to the price on rodeo days.
