A North Arkansas Electric Cooperative (NAEC) right-of-way employee sustained injuries while working in Ozark Acres on Monday morning. According to NAEC officials, the worker was transported via helicopter to a hospital in Little Rock for medical treatment.
“We are thankful for the quick response of our right-of-way crew and local emergency personnel,” said Mel Coleman, CEO of NAEC, in a statement.
The cooperative is withholding the name of the injured employee to protect their privacy. Coleman emphasized the organization's commitment to safety, stating, “Our employees’ safety is always our top priority. We continually strive to better our existing safety protocols and will review today’s event thoroughly.”
