Signature Florals Co., a new floral and gift shop in Batesville, was officially welcomed to the community by the Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce during a ribbon-cutting ceremony at its location on 384 South Broad Street. The event was attended by Chamber ambassadors, local leaders, family members, and supporters.
The shop, owned by Kathy Hauge, offers fresh floral arrangements, plants, memorial gifts, jewelry, custom orders, and gift baskets for various occasions. It also features locally sourced products, supporting Arkansas artisans and small businesses.
In her remarks, Amanda Roberts, membership engagement specialist for the Chamber, expressed excitement for the store’s launch. “Signature Florals Co. brings not only beautiful products and services to our community, but also a heartfelt story and a family that has chosen to invest in Batesville,” Roberts said. “We are thrilled to welcome Kathy and her team as Chamber members and look forward to supporting their success.”
Hauge shared her inspiration for the shop, which stems from her late mother and her own passion for floral design. “I moved here from Iowa, and my mother and I used to do flowers together,” Hauge said. “After she passed away in December, I decided opening a flower shop would be a wonderful way to honor her memory. This business is truly built from love, and we’re excited to share that with the Batesville community.”
Signature Florals Co. also specializes in custom requests; items not currently in stock can be specially ordered. The ribbon-cutting served as an opportunity to acknowledge those who played key roles in the business's launch, including Weichert Realty, First Community Bank, Don Sullivan Construction, and RAWK Imprinting, among others. Hauge also thanked her daughter Haley for designing the company’s logo and extended appreciation to Lisa Pruitt, the previous owner of the location.
