The Izard County Sheriff’s Department reported several arrests from the past week, involving residents from across the region and a range of charges.
Tyler Burns, 35, of Horseshoe Bend, was arrested and booked on charges of domestic battery in the third degree.
Joseph Slade, 44, of Evening Shade, was detained on an outstanding warrant issued by the Izard County Circuit Court.
Norris Erkman, 42, of Calico Rock, was arrested for failure to appear in court.
Noel Gene Loosey, 65, also of Calico Rock, was taken into custody on charges of possession of a firearm by a certain person—a charge typically applied to individuals prohibited by law from possessing firearms.
Additionally, Charles Branch, 40, of Franklin, was arrested on charges of both assault and battery.
The Sheriff’s Department did not provide further details about the circumstances surrounding the arrests. All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
