A 63-year-old man from Biggers has been arrested on a series of charges that include felony fleeing and controlled substance possession, according to the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office.
Raymond Martin was taken into custody on Saturday, August 8, 2026. Authorities alleged Martin was speeding at more than 15 mph over the posted limit. When deputies attempted to stop him, Martin reportedly fled in his vehicle with what officials described as "extreme indifference." He was also charged with possession of a Schedule I or II controlled substance, tampering with evidence, and operating a vehicle with defective equipment.
