A Pocahontas man has been arrested on charges of domestic battery and interfering with emergency communications, according to the Randolph County Sheriff's Office.
Kyle Smith, 32, was taken into custody on Friday, August 7, 2026. Sheriff's officials reported he is charged with third-degree domestic battery and second-degree interference with emergency communications.
Smith is being held at the Randolph County Detention Center. Authorities said he is awaiting a bond hearing and a court date.
